Welcome to Let’s Talk About Fluff – where fibre is more than just a material; it’s a passion, an obsession, and a way of life.

I'm the fibre-obsessed heart behind the shop – a spinner, dyer, and textile enthusiast with a deep love for all things fluffy. If it can be carded, spun, or cuddled, I’ve probably spent hours working with it (and talking about it). Fibre art is both my creative outlet and my joy – something that brings light even on the tough days.

My husband is the calm, clever tech wizard who keeps everything running behind the scenes. He didn’t start out as a fibre fan, but after years of living with someone who talks about staple length and twist angles over breakfast, he’s become a dedicated supporter (and surprisingly knowledgeable!). Together, we’re a team built on passion, patience, and a shared belief in doing things properly.

We’re based in beautiful Yorkshire, where the rolling hills and changing seasons inspire our colourways. Our home is full of creativity and love – shared with our two wonderful children, a very opinionated Labrador Retriever mix who believes all yarn is secretly a toy, and our two cats, Ralph and Kirby, who offer supervisory glares and the occasional paw of approval.

As a neurodiverse and disabled household (ME, ADHD, and autism live here too), we understand the value of patience, flexibility, and finding joy in small, meaningful things. That same philosophy runs through our business: we value thoughtful craftsmanship, honest communication, and creating tools and fibres that bring comfort, joy, and inspiration to others.
